About Us
Chappell Consulting is a boutique Western Australian consultancy providing independent workplace investigations, grievance resolution and related organisational integrity services.
Founded by licensed investigator and accredited mediator Louise Chappell, we help organisations navigate complex workplace matters with independence, procedural fairness and practical insight.
At Chappell Consulting, we believe that every engagement should leave the organisation stronger than when we arrived.
Our Approach
Our role is not to make decisions for our clients, but to provide the insight and clarity that give them the confidence to make good ones.
We approach every matter with independence, objectivity and respect for all participants. We combine careful analysis with genuine curiosity to understand context, evaluate evidence systematically, and communicate findings clearly.
Every engagement is managed personally by Louise from initial consultation through to final report, providing continuity, discretion and a deep understanding of your matter.

Frequently Asked Questions
Louise has extensive experience investigating allegations of fraud, corruption, theft, sexual harassment, bullying, undeclared conflicts of interest, breaches of confidentiality, unlawful access and disclosure of confidential information, and discrimination.
With a background in psychology, Louise has a particular interest in workplace bullying and harassment and has investigated several vexatious complaints.
Most commonly, Louise provides facilitative mediation which is best used where there is interpersonal friction, team communication breakdowns, or peer-to-peer conflict. Facilitative mediation is strictly neutral, and no advice or suggestions can be given to the parties to the mediation.
Louise can also provide workplace conciliation which is suitable for grievances where active evaluation is required such as clarifying statutory rights, contractual payouts, or exit negotiations. There are strict compliance requirements under the Australian Mediation and Dispute Resolution Accreditation Standards (AMDRAS) for offering workplace conciliation, and it is commonly offered together with facilitative mediations as a blended approach.
Where there is deep-rooted team conflict and management are unsure whether to investigate, mediate, or restructure, Louise can conduct a workplace assessment. This approach is a fact-finding process to map out the workplace culture and recommend an intervention strategy.
